Volker Zitt is the managing director of Atuforma and has been a huge car fan and sports car enthusiast since childhood. The tire protectors are made of shock-absorbing gel and offer optimal, even weight distribution for the vehicle. The surface adapts flexibly to the tire, providing an ideal contact area. This prevents imbalances from developing in the tire during extended periods of inactivity. The suspension and bearings are also relieved of stress.
1. Peel off the pre-mounted protective films from the adhesive pad on the back.
2. Place a tire protector centrally and snugly in front of each tire. The long side is the driving surface.
3. Press the tire protectors lightly onto the ground.
4. Briefly reverse the car and slowly drive forward. Stop in the middle.
The tire protectors were developed for vehicles that have longer periods of inactivity, e.g. seasonal vehicles, sports cars, classic cars and motorhomes.
Flexigel® tire protectors can be used on all surfaces.
The attached adhesive pad also prevents the tire protector from slipping on particularly smooth and slippery surfaces.
One set of tire protectors has a maximum load capacity of up to 2.5 tons.
