Frequently Asked Questions
Product information
The tire protectors are made of shock-absorbing gel and offer optimal, even weight distribution for the vehicle. The surface adapts flexibly to the tire, providing an ideal contact area. This prevents imbalances from developing in the tire during extended periods of inactivity. The suspension and bearings are also relieved of stress.
The FTC tire protectors are filled with the patented Flexigel® material. This automatically adapts to the tire.
No, the patented Flexigel® filling is a so-called encapsulated, PU-based gel. This combines the excellent conformability of a liquid to an object with the security of a solid. Even if the highly robust outer film is damaged, the gel cannot leak out.
Even weight distribution is guaranteed throughout the entire service life.
The tire protectors can be used on all cars and motorcycles.
The tire protectors were developed for vehicles that have longer periods of inactivity, e.g. seasonal vehicles, sports cars, classic cars and motorhomes.
No, the tire protector is made entirely of the patented Flexigel® and adapts to your tire regardless of its position. Only the tire should not protrude beyond the sides to ensure the gel's full effectiveness.
Product sizes
We offer two sizes.
SC – Sportcar suitable for tire widths up to 345 mm
O – Classic car tires suitable for tire widths up to 245 mm
The correct application
1. Peel off the pre-mounted protective films from the adhesive pad on the back.
2. Place a tire protector centrally and snugly in front of each tire. The long side is the driving surface.
3. Press the tire protectors lightly onto the ground.
4. Briefly reverse the vehicle and slowly drive forward. Position yourself in the center.
Care
The tire protectors are ready for immediate use. Dirt on the gel pad can be cleaned with water. The adhesive strength is then fully restored.
Yes, changes in surface color (fading, discoloration) can occur during use. However, these changes do not affect the proper functioning of the FTC tire protectors.
Yes, after a certain period of inactivity, you will notice imprints of your tire tread on the surface of the FTC tire protectors. These imprints are completely normal and an indicator of proper function. They do not affect the function or effectiveness of the FTC tire protectors.
The extent of the tire marks depends on many factors such as vehicle weight, tire size, tire pressure, etc. These factors influence the intensity of the marks, but do not negatively affect the product's functionality.
To remove the marks, pour water with a maximum temperature of approximately 80°C over the tire protectors. The hot water activates the patented gel, causing it to return to its original shape.
No, neither discoloration nor marks impair the function of Flexigel® Tyre Care tire protectors. These visual changes are normal signs of wear and tear and do not affect the performance or benefits of the product.
Maximum weight and surface
One set of tire protectors has a maximum load capacity of up to 2.5 tons.
Flexigel® tire protectors can be used on all surfaces. The attached adhesive pad further prevents the tire protector from slipping, especially on smooth and slippery surfaces.
Park
Yes, the particularly flat design of the tire protectors also makes it possible to push your vehicle onto the road without much effort.
Yes, even if your tires can't be positioned directly on the tire protectors, the patented Flexigel® still protects them. The tire protector is made entirely of the patented Flexigel® and adapts to your tires regardless of their position.
Reversing onto the tire protectors is also possible. Simply rotate the tire protectors so that the driving edge corresponds to your direction of travel.
Production/Origin
All tire protectors are handmade in our own production facility in Germany.

Yes, there are almost no limits to your design options for the tire protectors. If you'd like to learn more, please feel free to call us for a no-obligation consultation.
Your chosen design is particularly durable and abrasion-resistant thanks to back printing. The tire itself does not touch the print, so there is no risk of the print wearing off.
Before your new tire protectors are produced, you will receive a 3D rendering for your review. Final changes can then be requested.
After receiving your order, a member of staff will contact you to discuss your requirements.
Should you wish to include a photo of your vehicle or a logo, for example, you will receive the appropriate email address. Please send the data to your contact person. We will then check the printability of your data. Once we have received print-ready data from you, we will create and send you an initial draft of your tire protector according to your specifications.
If the design meets your expectations, a 3D view will be created.
Then you can release the print and we will produce your desired tire protectors.
After you have approved the print job, you will receive your tire protector within three months.
